Bill Noel, author of the popular Folly Beach Mystery series, will be holding two book signings for his latest novel in the series, First Light, on Folly Beach March 23-24. This will be Mr. Noel’s second appearance on Folly Beach since First Light was released in January.
South Carolina’s Folly Beach is prominently featured in all nine mystery novels: Folly, The Pier, Washout, The Edge, The Marsh, Ghosts, Missing, Final Cut, and First Light. Noel has been dubbed the “master of the feel of Folly,” and the books “perfect beach reads.”
Folly Beach is unique, the novels are quirky, and the locations of the book signings are unique in the world of book signings and events. According to Noel, “I prefer focusing on being where the people are rather than where books are.”
Noel will be signing and discussing the nine novels at The Folly Beach Crab Shack on Monday, March 23 from 5 to 7 p.m.; and Lost Dog Café on Tuesday, March 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, go towww.billnoel.com.
