Folly Turtle Program: Inventory of Nest 7

Nest #7 has hatched after 57 days of incubation and will be inventoried Friday evening, July 22, at 6:00 pm. Meet us on the beach at Folly Beach County Park about 150 yards beyond the end of the parking lot. If raining, the inventory will proceed; if lightning, the inventory will be postponed with a new plan announced here. An inventory determines the nest’s hatch and emergence success by counting the empty egg shells, undeveloped eggs, and dead & live hatchlings that remain in the nest.
