The group will be hosting a faux ice skating rink complete with other family-friendly fun at the very first “Follyday Park!” \nOpen for skating from 4 pm – 9 pm on Friday\, December 23rd\, 11 am – 9 pm on Saturday\, the 24th\, and 4 pm to 9 pm on Sunday\, Christmas Day (times may be subject to change)\, the ice rink will be located at 201 East Ashley Ave across the street from Bert’s Market. Tickets are $10 per person for 30 minutes of skating\, including skate rental. There will also be an light show with 20-ft trees draped in twinkling lights\, Santa’s sleigh\, fire pits\, and holiday lights\, along with vendors selling cocoa\, s’mores\, and other holiday treats. Skating on the synthetic ice is a bit slower than skating on real ice\, which makes it great for beginners. \nWant to check out the fun but not ready to skate? Gather the hearties and put on your best seashells and peg legs for an exciting weekend full of pirate and mermaid family fun. \nUnder the Sea Dance\nFriday\, September 23rd | 7 – 9:30pm\nThe Loft at St. James Gate\n*The Loft will open to the public at 9:30 but event-goers are welcome to stay! \nSaturday\, September 24th \nBreakfast with Mermaids 9 – 10am\nRita’s Seaside Grille\nSalty Saturday – Center Street Closure Event\nSaturday\, September 24th | 10am – 4pm\nCenter Street\n*Center Street will close to traffic at 7am on Saturday\, September 24th and reopen at 6pm\, but will be open to the public from 10am – 4pm. \nThe street will be lined with delicious food from Folly’s restaurants plus dozens of arts and craft vendors and live bands across several stages. A huge kids area will feature games and fun for the kiddos.\nWe are proud to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association – South Carolina Chapter again as we work to “Paint Folly Purple” in our best under-the-sea wear and raise money for this very special local charity!\n*No Animals\, Coolers\, Bikes\, Skateboards\, Scooters\, or Backpacks (except diaper bags). No Outside Beverages.
