Performed in NYC 2 shows for People Magazine along with Chuck Berry\, opened for the legendary Tom Jones\, Loretta Lynn and has shared the stage with Jeff Cook of Alabama\, Bryan Johnson of AC/DC\, BJ Thomas\,Grammy Award songwriter Richard Leigh and others. He was invited to be featured entertainment for the CEO Organization cruise to Antarcticahas performed from NYC to Santiago Chile\, Wimbledon to Santa Monica\, Sacramento to Key West and Nashville to Chicago! His song “For Old Times Sake” he wrote went to #75 on Billboard’s top 100. He played in Wimbledon England for CEO London Bridges Holding Co. 25th wedding anniversary. He has spent the past 6 years playing in Key west about 12 weeks a year.

DESCRIPTION:Brandon Lamar Simmons\, born and raised in Charleston South Carolina\, is a sing/songwriter\, producer\, and multi instrumentalist. He’s played in multiple jazz bands as a trumpet player in his early years\, and has played drums in various bands as well. At age 18 he decided to pick up a guitar\, take on the microphone and perform as a singer/songwriter. He went on to Atlanta Georgia to study recording engineering and music production and graduate at the Atlanta Institute of Music. Now\, he’s back in Charleston\, gigging around in various projects. The drummer for a local band by the name of “Token Mary”\, the lead singer for a duo band called “Brandon and the Archer” and also continues to work on his solo music and any other musical opportunities he can get his hands on. Rae focuses the performance lens on their Americana/Folk driven songs with vibrant vocals and acoustic guitar painting achingly familiar melodies with strong lyrical content. Rae uses the cello as a hypnotic interlude between songs weaving the performance together with looped cello melodies that remind the audience of the beauty in the improvised\, present moment. Here is a run down of his journey so far: 14 years as featured entertainment at Wild Dunes Resort in Charleston\, SC located on the Isle Of Palms.  Performed in NYC 2 shows for People Magazine along with Chuck Berry\, opened for the legendary Tom Jones\, Loretta Lynn and has shared the stage with Jeff Cook of Alabama\, Bryan Johnson of AC/DC\, BJ Thomas\,Grammy Award songwriter Richard Leigh and others. He  was invited to be featured entertainment for the CEO Organization cruise to Antarcticahas performed from NYC to Santiago Chile\, Wimbledon to Santa Monica\, Sacramento to Key West and Nashville to Chicago! His song “For Old Times Sake” he wrote went to #75 on Billboard’s top 100. He played in Wimbledon England for CEO London Bridges Holding Co. 25th wedding anniversary. He has spent the past 6 years playing in Key west about 12 weeks a year.
