The drummer for a local band by the name of “Token Mary”\, the lead singer for a duo band called “Brandon and the Archer” and also continues to work on his solo music and any other musical opportunities he can get his hands on. He  was invited to be featured entertainment for the CEO Organization cruise to Antarcticahas performed from NYC to Santiago Chile\, Wimbledon to Santa Monica\, Sacramento to Key West and Nashville to Chicago! His song “For Old Times Sake” he wrote went to #75 on Billboard’s top 100. He played in Wimbledon England for CEO London Bridges Holding Co. 25th wedding anniversary. He has spent the past 6 years playing in Key west about 12 weeks a year.

DESCRIPTION:Call venue for time. \nEd “Porkchop” Meyer has been performing for twenty years in a variety of styles and configurations. He has played private parties\, lounges\, clubs\, five star hotels\, and parties from New York to Bangkok\, where he played for the Queen of Siam and the Sultan of Brunei. \nHe works the eighty eights with a strong sense of rhythm and his voice has a textured\, evocative edge that is equally at home with pop tunes\, blues\, ballads\, jazz standards\, and country tunes. \nEd has played with some of the best sidemen in the business\, including two years with Jeff Watkins (formerly with James Brown) and another two years with Elliott Fikes (formerly of Little Anthony and the Imperials). \nCurrently\, he is playing solo gigs and leading the “Porkchop Meyer Band” as well as playing with other local groups.
