A very merry (and very Folly) holiday pop-up takes over Loggerheads Beach Grill during the month of December

Mele Kalikimaka might be the wise way to say Merry Christmas to you in Hawaiian, but on Folly Beach the season sounds a little more like a Grinch-a Colada or a Sweater Weather Sour. Loggerhead’s Beach Grill has officially gone all-in on holiday spirit this year, transforming its ocean-side bar into a festive escape packed with twinkle lights, holiday décor, themed cocktails, and over-the-top desserts.
Inside and out, the place will be decorated with lots of whimsical touches, including holiday glassware and music. But the real showstopper is the Very Merry Drink & Dessert Menu, a lineup that’s as fun to look at as it is to taste. Of course, there’s a “Naughty List” and a “Nice List.”
On the “Naughty List,” beachgoers will find icy creations served in souvenir buckets and brightly colored glassware, including the tropical-leaning Grinch-a Colada, the layered Vixen’s Vice, and the bold blue Bumble Bucket, which arrives in a 64-ounce vessel that practically begs for a group photo. Hot cocktails also make an appearance, like the peppermint-kissed Candy Cane Hot Chocolate and the dessert-like Comet’s Cappuccino topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. The “Nice List” keeps things family-friendly with frosty N/A daiquiris and cocoa piled high with marshmallows, while the dessert section goes fully festive. The standout? Buddy’s Spaghetti, a playful funnel-cake take on the infamous Will Ferrell dish from Elf, complete with maple and chocolate syrup, whipped cream, sprinkles, mini marshmallows, and candy cane crunch.
Whether you’re craving a Peppermint Cheesecake, a Rainbow Sprinkle Cake, or simply a warm place to sip something merry, this year, Loggerhead’s is making sure there’s a little holiday magic waiting for you.
