Pinky’s offers two nights of heart-shaped pizzas, spritz flights, and flirty cocktail specials for Gallentine’s and Valentine’s Day

from Staff Reports

At Pinky’s on the Beach, Valentine’s season feels less like a Hallmark holiday and more like a mood — playful, a little tongue-in-cheek, and unapologetically pink. Fittingly, the Folly Beach restaurant and bar is leaning into its signature aesthetic this February with two Valentine-themed nights that celebrate love in all its forms, from best-friend bonds to beachy date nights.

Both events share a few non-negotiables. There will be heart-shaped pizzas, spritz flights, and flirty cocktail specials flowing all night long, served in a space where pink isn’t an accent color, it’s a lifestyle.

The first celebration takes place on Thursday, Feb. 13, and leans hard into friendship. Galentine’s Day at Pinky’s is built around what the restaurant cheerfully describes as “girl gang energy.” Live music sets the tone early, playing from 5 to 8 p.m., before a DJ takes over from 9 to 11 p.m., ensuring the night doesn’t stay seated for long. Dancing is not only encouraged — it’s expected.

The vibe is social, sparkly, and intentionally a little extra. Guests are invited to rally the crew, text the group chat, and call dibs on a table. It’s an excuse to get dolled up, sip something yummy, and be pretty in pink.

Then, the next night, Pinky’s shifts into full Valentine’s mode on Saturday, Feb. 14, with an evening that’s still chill, but geared a little more to the romantics out there. Live music, ocean air, and a menu tailored to the occasion create an easygoing date-night atmosphere that feels true to Folly’s personality. Rather than leaning into formal dining tropes, the restaurant offers an alternative. Instead of white tablecloths and hushed tones, guests can expect something more casual and coastal, the kind of setting where love feels celebratory rather than scripted.

Together, the two events reflect what Pinky’s does best: creating a space that doesn’t take itself too seriously while still delivering a memorable experience. Whether guests arrive with a partner, a group of friends, or no plan at all, the message is the same — Valentine’s doesn’t have to look one way. But on Folly Beach, apparently, it looks pink.

Pinky’s on the Beach is located inside the Tides hotel at 1 Center St. For more information or to reserve a table, call (843) 588-6464 or visit www.pinkysfollybeach.com/valentinesday.
