Sharks on the Edge

Originally coined as a marketing slogan to promote Oceansports Surf Shop, “The Edge of America” carries many connotations. Over the years, both real and perceived dangers occasionally threaten this somewhat isolated community at the terminus of a dead-end road. Although shark attacks are rare, the toothy fish are indeed out there. In this case, it’s a 675-pound tiger shark caught by Captain Ivan Schultz. (Courtesy of Betty Schultz.)
