2015 Miss Sea & Sand Queens Crowned

The second annual Miss Sea & Sand Pageant was held April 10 at Folly River Park. Lots of contestants and spectators turned out for the event, which led up to the street festival on April 11. After some fun competition, seven young ladies were crowned with various titles, according to age/category.

Caroline Jordan was crowned Ms. Sea & Sand. Jordan is from Charleston and works as a second grade teacher. She loves fitness competitions, baking, and Folly Beach.

Felicia Franklin was crowned Mrs. Sea & Sand. Franklin and her husband live in Charleston. She is an event coordinator and hospitality director at a local music venue. Felicia enjoys traveling, kayaking, and spending time on Folly.

Lindsey Lambrakos was crowned Miss Sea & Sand. Lambrakos is from Folly Beach and works in the hospitality business as a sales manager at a Charleston hotel.  She is a Clemson grad 2012, a former Miss Folly Beach 2011, and loves fishing and being at Folly.

Abigail Tindall was crowned Miss Teen Sea & Sand. Tindall is from Wagener, SC where she is a junior in high school. She works at a beauty salon when not visiting her grandmother at Folly.

Kalen Simpson was crowned Junior Miss Sea & Sand. Simpson is a junior at the College of Charleston, where she plays on the volleyball team. She works part-time at a local elementary school and at Loggerhead’s when not enjoying the beach.

Katie Ward was crowned Miss Junior Teen Sea & Sand. Ward is from James Island and is in the 6th grade. She is a member of the Charleston County School District Orchestra. She also plays the piano, violin, and tennis. She looks forward to riding in a float at the Folly Christmas Parade.

Finally, Sydney Duke was crowned Little Miss Sea & Sand. Duke is a 4th grader from Moncks Corner. She enjoys competing in pageants, modeling, dancing, and fishing on the Folly Beach Pier.
