A wrap-up of a chilly but tasty weekend celebrating the flavors of Folly

from Staff Reports

By the third week of January, most people’s New Year’s resolutions and Dry January aspirations are as distant as a warm beach day in July. Then, along comes the Taste of Folly and our failures feel like a victory as we eat and drink our way through all the delicious offerings our fair island has to offer.

This year’s cold spell did not keep away festival-goers who turned out in droves, first for Friday’s sold-out Cocktail Competition at Tides and then for the Savory Saturday street festival the following day.
